Andromeda constellation?
It was not really discovered in the sense of being hidden and suddenly being found. The constellations in general are just patterns of the brightest stars that are sufficiently close to be commonly ociated with each other as they re-appear each night throughout a given season. This ociation was usually performed by folks in ancient times before recorded history, and may have accompanied the telling of myths around the nightly fire. Andromeda is no exception. If the constellations were restructured today, I seriously doubt that Andromeda would repeat her role as the princess of the sky, since she inconveniently shares her brightest stars with the hind legs of Pegasus, who looks more like a horse than she looks like a princess. This embarring state of affairs was probably cooked up over two separate camp fires!
