Sims 3: The mother left! HELP! How do I get her back?

So when you play the flipping sims 3 every other family you have goes on living too, which pisses me off. cause i found out one family had twins, and named them Janet and Martizia or something. WTF!? i didnt want that. SO anyway while i was tending to that family i go back to the other one to find the wife missing, and when i clicked on the husband's friends it said she was his wife, but it said she had no partner. ANd whenever i try to invite her over she won't come. WTH happened will she ever come back?. She better, cause she left the poor bast.ard with 5 kids
