Are the NBC news anchors going to be anti-American at the Winter Olympics this year?

Ok, I don't know if anyone else noticed - during the summer Olympics in Beijing, quite a few NBC news casters were extremely, overly critical towards American (USA) athletes. Especially that Meredith Viera, who basically looked Bella Caroli in the eye and said his gymnastics team were losers. How rude. I thought true news reporters were supposed to be fair and balanced on their reporting. (wait, that's Fox) It was anything reporters could do to trash the US, and others, just to make China look good. Please, if somebody messes up, CALL IT. Don't just target one team or country to make another look better. So far, coverage has been pretty good on NBC, but I'm still waiting for ole' Meredith to flip the switch. Constructive comments, anyone?
