How do i switch phones on verizon wireless?

Okay, so I own the Alias 2 and the LG Voyager, and I want to switch from the Alias to the Voyager. I already submitted the ESN code, i'm stuck on the calling part. I called *228 and it tells you to press 1,2, or 3. 1 to upgrade it 2. to activate it and 3. for something else. where do i go from here?
